Myrciaria strigipes, commonly known as cambucá da praia (beach cambucá) or cabeludinha da praia (beach little hairy), is an evergreen shrub or small tree belonging to the Myrtaceae family. Native to the coastal regions of Bahia and Espírito Santo in eastern Brazil, this plant grows to heights of 4 to 9 meters. It produces edible, yellowish fruits ranging from 22 to 28 mm in diameter, prized for their unique flavor, which is described as a blend of Myrciaria glazioviana and Plinia cauliflora.
