Plinia coronata
Plinia coronata, also known as the Brazilian grape tree or jaboticaba, is a species of fruit tree native to Brazil and other parts of South America. It belongs to the family Myrtaceae, which also includes guava, eucalyptus, and many other well-known plants.
The tree can grow up to 12 meters tall and has a dense canopy of shiny, oval-shaped leaves. It produces small, round, grape-like fruits that range in size from 1 to 3 centimeters in diameter. The fruit has a thick skin and a soft, juicy pulp that is typically eaten fresh. The flavor is sweet and slightly acidic, with a unique aroma that is often compared to that of a grape.
