OUR STORY
The Loxahatree began in a tiny suburban backyard.
Year after year, we attempted to grow a garden to provide our family with healthier food options. We built raised garden beds, grew straight in the ground, and even tried container gardens. Time and time again, just like many Floridians, our plants would begin to grow but for one reason or another, they just wouldn't thrive.
That was, until we began to learn about growing in the tropics. The more we researched, and the more we tried, the more we discovered that we CAN grow our own food in Florida. And better yet, we learned how to grow food YEAR ROUND in our own backyard!
Believe it or not, when we began choosing and growing the right plants, we outgrew our suburban backyard. That's when we moved out to our little farmyard in Loxahatchee and began the Loxahatree.
